Why exactly are we doing this...?
Recently we decided that, before we get married and buy a house, we should make the most of our freedom and undertake an exciting and challenging adventure. Unfortunately, tickets for the Virgin Galactic space flight would have left us without a house deposit or a wedding fund, so we decided to cycle the 1,050 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats instead.So that we don't blow all our annual leave in one go, we're going to do the ride over 12 and a half days, the longest day being around 120 miles. As neither of us have ever cycled more than 80 miles in a single day this is a pretty big challenge!
